As owners representatives for the Revelstoke Motel project, our role extended beyond overseeing the physical transformation of the old 2-story Motel 8; JVF supervised the vendors for IT, FF&E, furniture install, fixtures, and TV systems for the Revelstoke Motel project.

Throughout the project, our team closely monitored the budget, working with stakeholders to track expenditures and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or timelines. This included regular budget reviews, forecasting, and financial reporting to keep all parties informed and aligned.

In addition to collaborating with the Construction Manager on subcontractor awards, JVF led a comprehensive Request for Proposal (RFP) process to select vendors, crafting detailed specifications and evaluating proposals based on cost, quality, schedule, and alignment with the project vision.

Leveraging our project management expertise, we oversaw the engagement of consultants and subcontractors to ensure adherence to timelines, quality standards, and budget constraints. With open communication, regular meetings, and proactive issue resolution, JVF kept the project on track, delivering a successful renovation aligned with the client’s goals.
