JVF was engaged as the Owner’s Representative during the due diligence and design phase of the Selkirk Inn renovation in Golden, BC. Tasked with representing the client’s interests, JVF worked closely with the design team to ensure the project reflected the owner’s vision, brand identity, and operational goals.

JVF managed the Request for Proposal (RFP) process to select the design team and construction manager, supporting ICM through budgeting and the due diligence phase. Throughout the design process, JVF provided expert guidance on design decisions, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management. By facilitating collaboration between architects, engineers, consultants, and the construction manager, JVF ensured clear communication, alignment of objectives, and a well-informed pre-construction process that set the foundation for a successful renovation.
